| How To Use This Site |
This site employs a new concept in website design that allows you to maintain multiple, concurrent viewing windows on your screen. Since you are viewing this How to Use This Site page, you will notice that on the left hand side of the screen there is now an icon for this page as follows:
This is your history menu. When you click on any of the icons shown in your history menu, that page will be re-displayed. You can have up to twenty concurrent open windows.
When a viewing window is no longer desired, click  on the top bar of the viewing window or click the Close this Page button at the bottom of the page.
To start selecting products, move your mouse over OUR CATALOG (upper left corner) and then click on one of the menu categories. The New Products category shows products that have been added in the last month, and My Favorites shows the last 50 products that you have ordered.
The catalog pages will display a series of picture thumbnails. To select a product, first click on the thumbnail. A new viewing window will be shown with a full-size picture and additional information. You now can add this product to your cart. An icon and product code will also be created in the history menu on left side of page.
The viewing windows can be full size or half size, allowing you to view two selections at the same time. A half size window can be placed on either the left or right side of the screen.
To change the size and position of a viewing window, click one of the orientation icons  
 on the top bar.
A final caution on the use of your browser's Refresh feature. This website only uses one web page. All the viewing windows are inside this single page, so if you click Refresh, ALL of your viewing windows will be refreshed! Depending on how many windows you have open, this could be a lengthy process. If you have many open windows and a picture in one of them is not displaying due to a temporary network error, we recommend closing that viewing window and then opening it again.

Bali-Jewels.com is dedicated to supplying the finest quality, hand-crafted Balinese silver jewelry. Our factory manufactures and supplies only Balinese made jewelry, so all our efforts are focused on providing merchandise that meets the highest standards along with responsive and effective customer support.
All of our products are hand-made by local artisans either employed by us and working in our factory or contracted by us and working in their own homes. Each piece is subject to stringent quality control checks throughout the production process. If there's ever a problem with our merchandise (we're only human, so mistakes can happen despite our best efforts to avoid them!), we'll do everything we can to solve the problem as quickly as possible. We're proud to say that we stand 100% behind every item that we ship.

Our product guarantee is very simple. If we ever ship a product that doesn't meet your expectations, we'll either issue a refund or arrange for a replacement at no cost to you. Refunds are issued at the discretion of management and will be paid only by company check drawn on our bank in the United States.

| Minimum Quantities and Order Amount |
|
We have no minimum order quantity per product, but you need to order 10 pieces of a product in order to qualify for the maximum discount level. We do have a minimum order amount (merchandise, not including shipping) of US$ 200.00. Please see our Pricing Policy for detailed information on how we automatically discount our prices based on the number of pieces per product and the total amount of your order.

If you're a new customer and want to evaluate our jewelry before placing a regular order, we'll be pleased to enter a enter sample order for you. Just e-mail us a list of the items you'd like to see and we'll take it from there.

| Lead-time to Ship |
|
We begin processing your order as soon as we receive your payment. The length of time before an order is ready to ship depends on the size of the order. We may be able to ship small orders from stock, but large orders can take as long as 4 weeks to manufacture. In order to avoid disappointment, please assume that it will take 2-3 weeks before your order is ready to ship. We will advise you of the expected shipping date within a day or two after we receive your payment.

We require payment in full at the time you place your order. We offer 4 payment methods: Bank Transfer, Bank Check, PayPal, and Credit Card.

Bank Transfer - We maintain bank accounts in the United States and Thailand. Both accounts can receive SWIFT transfers, and our USA account can also receive ACH and Fed Wire transfers. If you choose this method, we'll send you full information as soon as we receive your order. In addition, our system automatically will give you a 3% discount on the total amount of your order, including shipping.
Bank Check - You can purchase a bank check or money order (we cannot accept personal or company checks) and send it to our USA bank for deposit. If you're located outside the USA, please note that the bank check or money order must be denominated in United States Dollars. If you choose this method, we'll send you full information as soon as we receive your order. In addition, our system automatically will give you a 3% discount on the total amount of your order, including shipping.
PayPal - This method allows you to remit payment by American Express, Discover, Mastercard, Visa, e-Check, or PayPal funds.
Credit Card - This method allows you to remit payment by Mastercard or Visa via WorldPay, our secure payment gateway.

Which is the best method for you? It depends on the amount of your order and where you're located. Send us an e-mail and we'll be happy to advise you.
If you have special requirements, you can submit your order for review and quotation by selecting the "Request Price Quotation" payment method. If you have selected "Request Shipping Quotation" as the shipping method, or if the total amount of merchandise is $5,000 or greater, our system automatically will submit your order as a request for quotation.

All orders are shipped from our factory in Bali, Indonesia. Our system automatically calculates shipping fees based on the packed weight of your order (displayed on the checkout page), your location, and the shipping method. We do not make a profit on shipping fees: the amount that we charge you is the amount that the shipper charges us.
We have 4 standard shipping methods: DHL Courier, Express Mail Service (EMS, known as Global Express Mail in the USA), Air Parcel Post Insured, and Surface Parcel Post Insured. Depending the weight of your order and where you're located, all shipping methods may not be available. Our system automatically displays all available shipping methods and their fees on the checkout page.
If you have special shipping requirements, or if there is no standard shipping method available for your order, you can select the "Request Shipping Quotation" method. If "Request Shipping Quotation" is the shipping method, our system automatically will set the payment method for your order to Request Price Quotation.

DHL Courier - Delivery time is normally 3-5 days, and you can track the status of your package at DHL's website www.dhl.com.
Express Mail Service - Delivery time is normally 5-7 days, and you can track your package at the Indonesia Post website ems.posindonesia.co.id.
Air Parcel Post Insured - Delivery time is normally 2-3 weeks.
Surface Parcel Post Insured - Delivery time is normally 2-3 months.

We provide complete and accurate shipping documentation with every order, including all documentation needed for reduced or duty-free tariff treatment under the Generalized System of Preferences. Nevertheless, you may be required to pay import duty and/or other taxes to your local customs authority before your package is released for delivery. In addition, DHL or a company acting as the delivery agent for your local postal service may charge a brokerage fee for clearing your package through customs.
Please note that you are responsible for any duty, tax, brokerage fee, or other charge related to importation, as such charges are not included in the shipping fee. If you would like additional information about the rate of duty or tax that may be charged by your local customs authority, please contact our Customer Service Department.

| Pricing Policy |
All prices are shown in United States Dollars.
Each product has three price levels. Price Level 1 is the base price and Price Levels 2 and 3 represent increasing discounts. All three price levels are displayed on every catalog and product page.
The price level for each product depends on both the total value of merchandise ordered and the quantity ordered per product. Our system automatically calculates the price levels and re-calculates them each time you add an item to the shopping cart.
- Total merchandise value less than $1,000 – all products will be priced at Price Level 1.
- Total merchandise value between $1,000 and $3,000 (at Price Level 1) – all products will be priced at Price Level 2.
- Total merchandise value $3,000 or greater (at Price Level 1) – if you order 1-9 pieces of a product, that product will be priced at Price Level 2; if you order 10 or more pieces of a product, that product will be priced at Price Level 3.
